One of the most common surgeries performed in women is a hysterectomy, which removes the uterus and in some cases, the ovaries. A hysterectomy may be performed for a number of reasons, ranging from excessive menstrual bleeding to the suspicion of cancer. Dr. Lang uses a minimally invasive surgical technique whenever possible to reduce the size of the incision and speed healing and recovery for patients.

In addition to hysterectomy, there are a number of other surgeries and procedures that Dr. Lang and Amanda perform in the office, including dilation and curettage, hysteroscopy, ablations, loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP), colposcopy and hysterosalpingography.
