A recent study conducted in Finland shows that women who get the recommended of exercise tend to be happier and have less symptoms of menopause. They surveyed 2606 women all whom were 49; the results suggested women who exercise the recommend amount are less depressed, had less memory problems and were less likely to have hot flashes. The results aren’t overwhelming, but it does prove exercise can help. Before starting any exercise program, it is wise to talk with your personal physician for any recommendations they may have.
